I live in Santa Cruz, CA, and support projects throughout the Central Coast. I love travel, exploring new places and engaging with new communities, so I’m excited to take on projects further afield as well.
I specialize in supporting conservation organizations to protect and restore the natural world, maintain vital working lands and healthy food systems, and connect people to nature through biodiversity-driven and equitable management plans. After 30 years working for land trusts and public open space districts, I launched this practice to dedicate myself in service of similar mission-driven organizations to advance their critical work. It’s a dream to support big and audacious projects that serve as models for 30x30 and beyond by protecting, restoring, and connecting large landscapes, and integrating tribes and local communities into this work as long-term stewards of these places.
My aim is to provide critical capacity, whether securing grant funding, preparing a strategic plan, or providing hands-on project management. At this stage in my career I'm truly a jack of all trades and an adept project manager with a successful track record delivering land transactions, habitat restoration, and public access plans. I have deep connections with expert colleagues who can join me on integrated, multi-disciplinary teams.
I view my clients as trusted partners. While I’ll deliver high quality projects on time and within budget, I also hope to offer strategic viewpoints and thought partnership to advance your mission. Every project provides unique opportunities for organizational growth and development, to strengthen partnerships, and to get critical wins for the environment and local communities. Each success can build capacity and momentum to accelerate your mission and impact.
I bring candor, integrity, humility, curiosity, respect and humor to each and every partnership. Please contact me to explore how we can work together to save some vital open space, engage partners and the community, and cultivate a sense of respect and wonder for the natural world.
